Thermal Adhesive and Hot Melt Coating for Textiles
Custom thermal adhesive for textiles and technical foams. Specialized hot melt coating for automotive and footwear lamination up to 2.20 m wide.Detalles.
Thermal adhesive for textiles is a specialized engineering process involving the application of a heat-activated adhesive layer to a substrate. This ensures a controlled, high-strength bond with technical foams such as PU, EVA, or XLPE (Crosslinked), providing a clean and stable interface ideal for industrial die-cutting, thermoforming, and assembly.
At Industrias Dreibal, we develop thermal adhesive textiles with customizable grammage (coating weight), activation temperatures, and base materials (woven, jersey, non-wovens). This solution is engineered for technical footwear, automotive upholstery, bedding, and high-performance functional garments.
Thermal bonding preserves the textile’s original aesthetics while enhancing its structural integrity and compatibility with secondary lamination. We accommodate production lines up to 2.20 m in width, delivering in master rolls or sheets for seamless manufacturing integration.
Our solvent-free Hot Melt technology offers significant operational advantages: rapid set times, reduced VOC emissions, and full compatibility with automated lines. Our formulations, particularly EVA and Reactive Polyurethane (PUR), are recognized for their superior initial tack and long-term mechanical strength.
